Michael McCarraher

Michael McCarraher joined the Athletics Department staff as the institutions Head Golf Coach in august 2023.  He becomes the sixth Head Golf Coach in the program's history which formally dates back to the 2004 season, but has roots reaching back into the 1930's with a women's golf program when the college was known as Mount St. Joseph's College.
 
A certified PGA Professional, McCarraher brings nearly a decade of experience to the  Chestnut Hill  College golf program, most recently serving as an operations team member for Club Caddie.  Prior to Club Caddie, McCarraher was a PGA First Assistant Professional for the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale in Philadelphia.
 
McCarraher has also served as the Head Golf Professional at Philmont Country Club and an assistant pro at St. David's Golf Club, the Radnor Valley Country Club and at The ACE Club (now known as the Union League-Liberty Hill Club) in nearby Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.
