FRESHMAN (2012-2013) – Balcer played in a team-high 13 rounds and provided an 84.3 stroke average in those events. His best round was an 81 (+10), which was good enough for 3rd place at the Richard Stockton College Invitational on April 3, 2013. He was recognized with the 2012-2013 Coach’s Award at the annual Athletics Award Reception.
SOPHOMORE (2013-2014) – Balcer competed in a team-high 14 rounds, providing a stroke average of 82.93. His best score was a 78 (+7) at the Richard Stockton College Invitational on March 23
rd, 2013, where he placed second overall. Balcer earned the Coach’s Award at the annual Athletics Award Reception for the second consecutive season.
JUNIOR (2014-2015) – Balcer earned the team’s Coach’s Award after ranking third on the team in average score (80.41). His best performance (116, 41-75, +8) tying him for 3
rd place at the Bear Trap Dunes Invitational on March 13-15 and a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week award. He also recorded top-ten finishes at the Scarlet Raptors Fall Invitational (9
th, 76, +6) on October 17, Dowling College’s Peter King Memorial Tournament (T4th, 152, 70-82, +10) on April 3-4, and the Philadelphia Dual Match (T5th, 79, +7) on April 7.
SENIOR (2015-2016) – Balcer was recognized as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Co-Player of the Week on April 7 thanks to a tie for third place (69-76, 145, +3, Tall Grass Country Club, Shoreham, NY) at the Dowling College Spring Memorial Tournament. The three-year captain recorded four other top-10 finishes including a tie for first place (70, E, Inniscronne Golf Club, Avondale, PA) at the Griffins Fall Invitational on October 13. He carried a 77.7 stroke average through 13 events and finished his collegiate career as the College's first four-time Coach's Award winner.
