Biography
FRESHMAN (2013) – As the Griffins starting goalkeeper (17gp-17gs), Jackson made five appearances on the CACC Weekly Men's Soccer Report and anchored the Griffins shutouts over #12 Post University, 1-0 on September 15, #13 Wilmington University, 3-0 on September 24, and the defending CACC Champions, Dominican College, 2-0 on September 28. The late September run earned the Griffins a 9th place ranking on the October 8th National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II East Regional Poll. Jackson finished the season at 7-9-1 with six shutouts. He offered a 0.92 goals-against-average (GAA), 97 saves, and a .858 save percentage over 1564:40 minutes of play.
SOPHOMORE (2014) – Jackson was effective in his second season as the Griffins’ starting goalkeeper, ranking second in the CACC in saves (81), fourth in save percentage (.779), and fifth in goals-against-average (GAA), 1.33. Jackson finished with an 8-8-1 mark (1,558:40 minutes) and recorded four shutouts, including blank sheets against CACC postseason qualifiers Post University, 3-0 on September 13, and Concordia College (NY), 3-0 on October 11. He made three appearances on the CACC Weekly Men's Soccer Report (9/16, 9/22, and 10/22), earning the league's Defensive Player of the Week on September 15. He was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
JUNIOR (2015) – Jackson blossomed in his third season as the starting keeper (17gp-17gs), finishing fourth in the conference in saves (83), seventh in shutouts (2), and 10th in goal-against-average (2.02 GAA). He was the CACC Defensive Player of the Week on the league's September 15 report and earned Honor Roll recognition on the September 22 report. Jackson also tied for the program's all-time career shutout mark (12, Michael Goldstein '13), advancing his personal total to 12 with a 1-0 win at Post University on September 19 and a 2-0 triumph over Philadelphia University on October 29. His performance in net earned him a CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention on September 21, a pair of CACC Weekly Defensive Player of the Week awards (9/14, 11/2), and an All-CACC Second Team laurel. Jackson was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2016 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
SENIOR (2016) –Jackson completed his remarkable collegiate career with another strong season as he finishing second in the CACC in saves (83), fifth in save percentage (.741), and sixth in shutouts (3). A four-year starter, Jackson rewrote the Chestnut Hill College record book, ranking first in games played (66), minutes played (6,045:28), saves (365), shutouts (15), wins (28), second in save percentage (.780), and fourth in goals against average (1.53). In addition to his Defensive Player of the Week honor (October 10), Jackson was also named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll on September 26.
