Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2015) – A contributor of two game-winning-goals, Doherty finished his freshman season second on the team in goals (3) and tied for fourth in points (6). His first collegiate goal and first game-winner (2 goals) came in a 3-1 victory over the University of the District of Columbia on September 9 and his second clincher earned the Griffins a 3-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win over Caldwell University on October 17. He was one of three players to start all 18 contests (18gp-18gs) and was a two-time CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention (9/14 and 10/19).

SOPHOMORE (2016) – The valued forward started 12 out of the 14 contests (14gp-12gs) in which he appeared. Doherty tallied one goal and contributed one assist for three points. His goal came on a penalty kick (1-1 @ 79:59) – the Griffins’ only goal – in a 2-1 overtime loss to Nyack College on October 15.

JUNIOR (2017) – The forward competed in 10 games (10gps- 8gs) contributing one goal, one assist (9 points) and gave nine shot attempts (.111 SH%). His only goal of the season was a game winning goal in the 1-0 victory against New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) on September 6.

SENIOR (2018) - Doherty (17gp-15gs) added an assist to his seven goals for a team-high 15 points. He recorded a game-winning, and lone Griffin goal, in a victory over Dominican College on October 6 and converted three out of his four penalty kick opportunities. Doherty finished his collegiate career among the program's all-time top-10 in points (6^th, 27), goals (T5^th, 12), game-winning goals (T5^th, 4), shots (9^th, 79), shots on goal (7^th, 40), penalty kicks made (T3^rd, 4), and penalty kick attempts (T3^rd, 5).
