Biography

SOPHOMORE (2013) - Amaya emerged as an offensive weapon for the Griffins, scoring two game-winning-goals (9/7/13 vs. California University (PA) and 9/24/13 vs. Wilmington University) and providing four assists to rank second on the team in points (8). He started 15 of the 18 contests he appeared in and totaled 33 shots. Amaya was recognized on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Honor Roll for September 9 after scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 victory over California University (PA).

JUNIOR (2014) – Amaya's 21 points, fifth-best in program history, came on a team-high nine goals (T-6th in CACC) and three assists. He was an All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team selection and earned a CACC Weekly Honor Roll appearance on the league's October 28 report. Amaya provided the Griffins’ game-winning goal in a 3-0 CACC triumph over Post University on September 13. He started in 16 of the 18 contests in which he appeared and earned additional recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2015) – Amaya battled injury to start in 10 of the 11 contests in which he appeared (11gp-10gs). In those contests he totaled seven points with one goal and five assists. His lone goal came in a 3-2 overtime victory over CACC rival Goldey-Beacom College on September 16, while his passing was on point in the 3-1 win over the University of the District of Columbia on September 9 (2 assists) and conference contests versus Georgian Court University (T, 2-2 (OT) on September 22), at Bloomfield College (L, 1-4 on October 10), and at Caldwell University (W, 3-2 on October 17). He finished his collegiate career fourth in points (36), eighth in points-per-game (0.77), fourth in goals (12), tied for fifth in game-winning-goals (3), third in assists (12), and fifth in assists-per-game (0.26).
