Biography

SOPHOMORE (2013) – Jaffe started in all three contests in which he appeared (3gp-3gs). He recorded 12 shots.

JUNIOR (2014) – Jaffé was the captain and Most Valuable Players (MVP) for Chestnut Hill College, recording the fourth best offensive season in program history with 22 points (T-6th in CACC) on seven goals and a Griffin Division II-record eight assists (T-2nd in CACC) earning him an All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team selection and a Daktronics Inc. National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II All-East Region Second Team honor. He was a two-time CACC Player of the Week (10/22 and 10/8) and a two-time CACC Weekly Honor Roll Mention (9/22 and 9/15) while starting in 14 of the 16 contests in which he appeared. He totaled a team-high 43 shots and converted on two penalty kicks (2-for-2) while providing the game-winning goal in triumphs at East Stroudsburg University (W, 1-0) on October 1 and versus Holy Family University (W, 3-1) on October 14. Jaffé was recognized on the CACC Fall 2014 All-Academic Team and the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2015) - Leading the Griffins to their first-ever CACC Championship appearance, Jaffé (17gp-17gs) ranked among the CACC's top-10 in shots (80, 1st), goals (14, T4th), and points (34, 5th), pointing in seven consecutive games to close the season. Saving his best for last, Jaffé scored game-winning-goals in the final two regular season games to ensure the Griffins the #4 seed in their third straight CACC postseason appearance. His clutch play continued in the CACC Championship Tournament where he played a role in both goals of a 2-2 CACC Quarterfinal tie with #5 Philadelphia University Rams. Following the Griffins’ shootout victory over the Rams, he scored both Chestnut Hill College goals in a 2-1 CACC Semifinal victory over top-seeded Wilmington University, the second coming on a penalty kick just over five minutes (95:24) into overtime and serving as his fourth game-winning goal of the season. No stranger to overtime heroics, the Griffins looked forward to the possibility of an extra frame opposite #6 Bloomfield College in the CACC Championship. Jaffé assisted junior defenseman Nils Fussen (Aachen, Germany) on the first Griffin goal at 13:02 (2-1) and scored the second at 61:33 (2-2), but with time ticking down on a 2-2 tie, a Bear goal changed their fate, anointing #6 Bloomfield College with a 3-2 final. Jaffé was rewarded for his tremendous postseason play with a CACC All-Tournament selection. He was a three-time CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention (9/7, 9/14, 9/28) and the league's Player of the Week on November 3. Jaffé was recognized with his second straight team Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the annual Athletic Awards Reception and earned additional postseason recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Fall 2015 Athletic Academic Honor Roll, the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II CCA All-East Region Second Team. He was the first Griffin to earn back-to-back all-conference laurels since Gavin Reid '12 garnered All-CACC Second Team nods in 2010 and 2011 and he finished his collegiate career second in Chestnut Hill College history in points (56), tied for second in goals (21), and second in assists (14). He also finished first in points-per-game (1.70) and goals-per-game (0.64), and second in game-winning-goals (6) and assists-per-game (0.42).
