Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2013) – Fussen made an immediate impact in his freshman campaign, recording two game-winning-goals while making ten starts in the Griffin backfield (12 games played). His game-winners came in two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contests; a 2-0 defeat of Dominican College on September 28 and a 2-0 defeat of Philadelphia University on October 30.

SOPHOMORE (2014) – A regular in the backfield, Fussen started all 18 contests in which he appeared. Offensively minded, he totaled 15 shots. Fussen was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

JUNIOR (2015) – A reliable defender and a clutch contributor to the offense, Fussen finished second on the team in goals (6) and points (15), adding three assists to his credit. Fussen was one of three players to start all 18 contests (18gp-18gs). He provided the game-winning-goal in the Griffins’ first CACC victory of the season (3-2 over Goldey-Beacom College on September 16), tapping in a pass from senior midfielder Nicholas Jaffe (Sao Paulo, Brazil) in the 72^nd minute (71:28). He was recognized on the CACC Weekly Honor Roll on October 27 after providing a goal and two assists in a 1-1 week of league play against Holy Family University (L, 2-3 on 10/20) and Nyack College (W, 2-1 (OT) on 10/24). Fussen also garnered mention on the CACC All-Tournament Team for supplying two goals in the Griffins’ postseason run. He was a member of both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SENIOR (2016) – Despite only making six appearances (6pg-2gs), the two-way defender managed to contribute one goal (2 points) in his senior campaign. He also earned membership for both the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls (Fall 2016, Spring 2017) and the CACC Weekly Honor Roll (September 6, 2016).
