Biography

JUNIOR (2014) – Egbosimbah was the story of the Griffins first-ever indoor meets, with his speed earning the team a fourth-place finish in the Men's 60 Meter Dash final (7.35), second place in the Men's Long Jump Final (6.33 meters), and seventh place in the Men's 4x200 Meter Relay (1:40.88) en route to an eighth-place finish (8th of 14, 30.50 total points) at the Frank Colden Invitational. Less than a week later, at the Ursinus College Open, Egbosimbah helped the men's 4x400 Meter Relay team to a season's best finish with a Penn Relays qualifying time of 3:38.80 (6th). Egbosimbah turned in a fifth-place finish in the Men's 100 Meter Dash at the Collegiate Track Conference Championship (4/19/14), breaking the 11-second barrier for the first time with a time of 10.98 in the dash. Unfortunately, Egbosimbah missed the Penn Relays and Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships due to injury, but the rookie did receive recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll for the Spring of 2014.
