Francine Roseman joined the Scarlet and Gold coaching staff in January of 2019 after three seasons at Rosemont College (August 2016 – December 2019). There, she led the Ravens to a 31-65 record (14-44 Colonial States Athletic Conference) that included a 16-24 (.400) overall record and a 7-7 league record in 2019.
At Rosemont College enjoyed a historic 2019 under Coach Roseman, using a three-game winning streak at the end of March and 6-2 record in their final eight games to produce the program’s first All-CSAC performer, as well as, set program records in overall wins (16) and CSAC wins (7). Senior centerfielder Kaileigh Whalen (Magnolia, N.J.) – who garnered All-CSAC First Team honors – posted team-highs in batting average (.381; 48-of-126), on-base plus slugging (.951, OPS), and runs (38), while tying for the team lead in hits (48) and total bases (63).
Prior Rosemont College, Roseman filled various positions within the Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) Athletic Department. After initially taking on the Mustangs head softball coach and assistant women’s soccer coach duties in August of 2014, she was also named MCCC’s head women’s basketball coach that December. Coach Roseman’s experience also includes a stint in the CACC as she served as an assistant softball coach with the University of the Sciences (USicences) for the 2014 season.
She has been consistently involved in youth softball since 2004, filling serval coaching positions at the under-12, under-14, and under-18 with travel clubs in the Philadelphia area. Roseman served on the Upper Dublin Township (Pennsylvania) Board of Directors from 2009 to 2012 and was the Vice President for the Inter County Girls Softball League (ICGSL) Board of Directors from 2010 to 2012.
With a bachelor’s degree in communications (The University of Tampa) and a strategic leadership master’s degree (Rosemont College) on the way, Coach Roseman also has an extensive background in business management and logistics. She served as entertainment technician with the Disney Corporation from 1995 to 1999, a compliance administrator with Ecology Control Industries of Torrance, California, from 1999 to 2002, a customer service supervisor for Crosby and Overton of Long Beach, California, from 2002 to 2005, and a strategic account manager for Crete Carrier Corporation of Princeton, New Jersey, from August 2013 to May 2014. Coach Roseman currently resides in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Stewart, and daughter, Taylor.
