Jack Moore joined the Chestnut Hill College coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2019 season. Moore has past collegiate coaching experience with various National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) members including the softball programs at Bryant & Stratton College (assistant, 2016-2018) - where he worked alongside Head Coach Pete Berrios - and Virginia Wesleyan College (pitching coach, 2014-2016).

Moore has served prior coaching appointments with Rappahannock Community College (head baseball coach, 2008-2013), Chowan University (College) (head baseball coach, 1990-1991/assistant coach, 1987-1990), and Louisburg College (assistant coach, 1986-1987).

Moore has also accrued coaching experience as an instructor at Virginia Beach Grand Slam, USA (1994-1999) and as an assistant coach with the Tidewater White Sox from 1999-2006. During that time, Moore had the opportunity to work with several future professional athletes such as David Wright, Mark Reynolds, and Justin Verlander.

Additionally, through his membership with the National Pitching Association (NPA), Moore has worked with former Major League Baseball (MLB) player and pitching coach, Dr. Tom House. Dr. House is one of the leading authorities on pitching mechanics and is currently serving as the director of the Rod Dedeaux Research and Baseball Institute (RDRBI) at the University of Southern California (USC).
