Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2013) – While starting all 37 games, mostly at second base, Heaton batted .288 (30-for-104) while leading the team in runs (13). She also recorded three doubles, three homeruns, ten runs-batted-in (RBI), and four walks.

SOPHOMORE (2014) – Heaton was a CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention on April 7 after hitting .474 (9-for-19) in a 4-2 week of CACC play against the Goldey-Beacom College, Felician College, and Bloomfield College. She logged a team-high 34 hits and shared the team lead in triples (1) and RBI (19) while scoring 13 runs on a .402 slugging percentage (SLG) and a .358 on-base percentage (OBP). She received the Coach’s Award at the Athletics Award Reception and also earned recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2013 Academic Honor Roll.

JUNIOR (2015) – Heaton (25gp-19gs) returned from a preseason injury to carry a .100 (5-for-50) batting average, a .120 slugging percentage, and a .182 on-base percentage on four singles, a double, and four walks. In her first season as co-captain, she knocked in three runs and earned recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2016) – Heaton (45gp-38gs) wrapped up her career at Chestnut Hill College by being named the team’s Most Valuable Player (MVP). She batted .312 (34-for-109) with nine doubles, eight RBI, 12 runs scored while recording a team-high 15 walks. Heaton recorded a .394 slugging percentage, .397 on-base percentage and .924 fielding percentage. She earned recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2015 and spring 2016 Academic Honor Roll.
