Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2013) – Carney started all 38 games in centerfield. She totaled ten runs and two runs-batted-in (RBI) with 17 singles and four doubles (.184 BA, 21-for-114).

SOPHOMORE (2014) – Carney started all 34 contests as the Griffins left fielder while posting a .204 (20-for-98) batting average that came with four doubles, a triple, and her first collegiate homerun. She also totaled six RBI, nine walks, six beanballs, and a stolen base (1SB-1ATT). Carney also earned recognition on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Spring All-Academic Team and both the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

JUNIOR (2015) – Carney (36gp-34gs) started 34 games in the outfield, primarily covering left field while posting a .143 (13-for-91) batting average, a .187 slugging percentage, and a .238 on-base percentage with nine singles, a team-high four doubles, and seven walks. She scored a team-high 12 runs and knocked in five while stealing two bases (2-of-3, .667). In her first season as co-captain, Carney earned the Coach’s Award at season’s end and garnered recognition on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team and the Chestnut Hill College Fall 2014 Athletics Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR (2016) – Carney (42gp-36gs) wrapped up her collegiate career being honored with the Chestnut Hill College Athletic Director’s Award and her second Coaches Award. She batted .268 (30-for-112) with three doubles, a team-high three doubles, two home runs, 11 RBI, 14 walks, and 11 runs scored. Carney maintained a .402 slugging percentage, a .359 on-base percentage and a .945 fielding percentage while registering 66 putouts. She earned CACC Player of the Week laurels on March 22, while also earning recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Fall 2015 and spring 2016 Academic Honor Roll. Carney was also named to the CACC Spring 2016 All-Academic Team.
