Chestnut Hill College Athletics

2022:  competed in all eight races for the Griffins…was the Griffins’ second finisher at the Gwynedd-Mercy Griffin Open 5K Invite on 9/1, placing fifth overall with a time of 24:54.7…Placed second on the team and 35^th overall at the Philadelphia Metro Championship at Belmont Plateau on 9/10 with a time of 25:33.6…was 21^st overall at the Goldey-Beacom Invitational with a 5K time of 24:12.3…Was CHC’s third finisher at the Paul Short Invitational on 9/30 with a personal best 6K time of 26:54.7…ran a season best 5K time of 23:58.8 at the CACC Championship on 10/30…finished sixth overall at the Cairn 4K challenge on 11/14 with a time of 20:43.9…was the Griffins’ fifth finisher at the NCAA east Region Championship with a 6K time of 27:50.

2021:  competed in all seven races for the Griffins…opened the season with a 6K time of 31:47.8 at Belmont Plateau at the Temple University Invite on 9/3…still at Belmont, was the Griffins’ third finisher at the Philadelphia Metro with a time of 25:29.9 on 9/11…lowered her 6K time to 27:56.8 at the Paul Short Invitational on 10/1…ran a personal best time of of 23:36.2 at Belmont Plateau in the CACC Championship race on 10/24, finishing 37^th overall…had a season-best 6K time of 27:42.3 at the NCAA East Region Championships on 11/6

2020:  no season due to pandemic

Other Sports:  member of the track and field team

Academic Achievement:   2X CACC Cross Country all-Academic Team honoree…Sigma Zeta Honor Society…named to Dean’s List twice…named to CHC athletic Academic honor Roll four times.

Prior to Chestnut Hill:    A 2020 Graduate of Oley Valley high School…member of the Oley Valley cross country and track and field teams...was also on the school’s volleyball roster for 2016-17…

Personal:  daughter of Kathleen Elias…has two older siblings

On Choosing Chestnut Hill:  “I chose to attend Chestnut Hill because I really enjoyed campus and the school had a good program for my major.  The coach and members of the team were also very welcoming.”
