Biography

FRESHMAN (2009) - Veazey posted a 9-7-1 record, making 16 starts as the Griffins' goalkeeper. She played in 20 contests all together to total 1,549:55 minutes in net. Veazey carried a 1.51 goals-against-average (GAA) and she made 105 saves en route to a .802 save percentage; she ranked among the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) top five keepers in GAA (1.51, 5th), saves (105, 5th), and shutouts (3, 5th). She was the honorable mention for the CACC Rookie of the Week Award on October 12, 2009 and she recorded her first collegiate goal in a 7-1 win over Washington Adventist University on September 20, 2009.

SOPHOMORE (2010) - Veazey had another strong season in net for the Griffins. She finished with a 13-4-2 record and totaled 1,646:22 minutes, while making 18 starts in 20 contests. Veazey ranked among the CACC's top five goalkeepers in saves (97, 5th), save percentage (.874, 3rd), goals-against-average (0.77, 2nd), and shutouts (5, T2nd). At season's end, Veazey was recognized with a First Team All-CACC selection. 

JUNIOR (2011) - Veazey provided the Griffins with a strong showing as the starting goalkeeper (17GP-16GS). She recorded 96 saves on a .762 save percentage and allowed 1.78 goals/game on an 8-8 record. She recorded shutouts in wins over St. Thomas Aquinas College, 5-0 on September 14, and Concordia College (NY), 5-0 on October 23.

SENIOR (2012) – Veazey started 17 of 19 contests in goal while posting a 2.34 GAA and a .794 save percentage en route to her 7-10 record. In 1,422:22 minutes, she totaled 143 saves on 350 shots faced. She also recorded her only collegiate point in her final home game by assisting to junior Kaelyn Pizarro (Berlin, N.J.) on the final goal of a 3-0 win against Shippensburg University on October 25, 2012. Veazey finished her collegiate career as the program's all-time leader in saves (441), wins (38), Losses (29), shutouts (14), and minutes (6,217). She was a member of the Chestnut Hill College Athletics Spring 2013 Academic Honor Roll and a 2012-2013 recipient of the Chestnut Hill College Athletic Director’s Award; reserved for the student-athletes who best demonstrate dedication to the mission of the College and excels in their sport of choice.
