Biography
FRESHMAN (2017) – The freshman was a sprinter and thrower for the Griffins, competing in the 100 meter, 100 meter hurdles, and the javelin throw. In her debut meet, she finished 41st in the 100 meter (17.20), 17th in the 100 meter hurdles (21.04), and 16th in the javelin throw (18.22m). At the CACC Outdoor Conference Championship she placed 11th in the 100 meter hurdles (20.78) and 18th in the javelin throw (14.08m).
SOPHOMORE (2018) – Charney finished 19th in the 60 meter hurdles (12.33; season best), finished 50th in the 200 meter dash (35.77), and 54th in the 60 meter dash (10.17; season best) at the Frank Colden Invitational. At the CACC Outdoor Track and Field Championship, she made three top-25 finishes in the 100 meter dash, 100 meter hurdles, and the javelin throw. She also recorded a season best in the 100 meter dash with a 24th place (15.35) finish.
