Chestnut Hill College Athletics

Stephen McDonnell joined the Chestnut Hill College staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer during the 2019-20 school year. He was previously with NovaCare Rehabilitation, working with the Temple University football team and serving as head athletic trainer at Log College Middle School.

McDonnell holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Temple University (May 2018) and is currently pursuing his master’s in athletic training from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

During his time at Temple University, McDonnell received clinical experience with various Philadephia-area college athletic programs, including Holy Family University (Spring 2018), Temple University (Fall 2017) and the University of Pennsylvania (Spring 2017).

McDonnell received his certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and is a Pennsylvania state licensed athletic trainer. He currently resides in Warminster, Pennsylvania.
