A former assistant strength and conditioning coach the University of Pennsylvania and William Penn Charter School, Egan will provide the Chestnut Hill College Fitness Center with a professional, certified to develop, implement, and oversee the periodization of year-long strength and conditioning programs of all 18 intercollegiate athletic programs.

Egan graduated from Temple University's College of Health Professions and Social Work on 2014 with a bachelor's of science in kinesiology. From there, he pursued his exercise and sports science with a strength and conditioning internship at the University of Pennsylvania (August 2014). In addition to supervising The Pottruck Health & Fitness Center during open hours, Egan assisted the Quaker's National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I strength and conditioning personnel with the set-up, break-down, and completion of team and individual workouts, motivation of student-athletes during such exercises, and instruction of proper lifting techniques, alternative lifting techniques, and rehabilitation exercises. In March of 2016, Egan took on similar responsibilities at William Penn Charter's strength and conditioning facility, providing his professional expertise at both establishments simultaneously.

Egan has also been a personal trainer and powerlifting coach at Royal Fitness in Barrington, New Jersey, since November of 2011. He is certified by the American Red Cross, Functional Movement Systems (FMS), USA Powerlifting, USA Weightlifting, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA). He currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
