ITA Play Garners Shcherbakova an Honorable Mention on CACC Weekly Report
New Haven, Conn. – (9/12/2012) – For her exceptional play in the United States Tennis Association (USTA)/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Championships, senior Anastasiya Shcherbakova (Minsk, Belarus) was selected as an honorable mention for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week award. Shcherbakova was the final Griffin remaining in the tournament as she challenged New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) graduate student, Nelly Ciolkowski (Neuilly-Plaisance, France) in the Women’s A Singles Semifinals.
