LaRosa Lures CACC Golf Weekly Honor Roll Recognition
New Haven, Conn. - (9/13/2017) – For the second straight week, Chestnut Hill College was represented on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Golf Report. This time, freshman Jack LaRosa (Bristol, Pa.) earned a spot on the CACC Honor Roll for his play at the Swarthmore College/Neumann University Fall Invitational. Taking advantage of a perfect late summer Sunday afternoon, the Chestnut Hill College golf team traveled to Rock Manor Golf Course for the competition. LaRosa led the Griffins to a third place finish (3rd of 16, 311, +27) with his round of 75 (+4) tying him for fourth among a field of 81.

LaRosa was three strokes better than the next Griffins as fellow freshman Tyler Marchese (Dunmore, Pa.) provided his second straight solid round of golf with a score of 78 (+7) tying him for 12th place. Sophomore Taylor Mezzatesta (Forest Hill, Md.) matched that score 78 (+7). Freshman Dan Harrington (Pomfret, Conn.) tied for 17th with his round of 80 (+9) strokes.
