Millersville, PA – (9/13/2009) – Senior Erin Andersen (Canton, CT) and freshman Danielle Knott (Mt. Vernon, NY ) combined for their third straight win in the top doubles match, however; Chestnut Hill College could not overcome Millersville University this afternoon. The Marauders took the remaining doubles matches and won four out of six singles flights for a 6-3 win.

Chestnut Hill College (0-4) received singles victories from Knott and senior Karen Guwuriro. Knott battled for her third individual win of the season, taking number two singles 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 10-2. Guwuriro also enjoyed the rewards of hard work, winning number five singles 2-6, 6-4, 10-6. Millersville University (0-1) took the remaining singles matches to seal their victory 6-3.

The women's tennis team travels to Bloomsburg University on Wednesday, September 16, for a 6:30 p.m. match.
