The Scarlet and Gold held the advantage after doubles play, 2-1, and increased it to 3-1 with a 6-0, 6-0, number one singles win from senior
Laure-Anne Josso (Vannes, France), but the victory was followed by four straight Wildcat wins that stole the match for the visitors, 5-4. It is the fifth consecutive 5-4 decision the Griffins have endured at the start of this season.
Chestnut Hill College (0-5, 0-5) won the first point of the match with an 8-4 number-three doubles win from freshmen

The Chestnut Hill College women's tennis team breaks from CACC play to compete as individuals in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Championships, which are schedule to begin next Saturday, October 1, at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
