Chestnut Hill College (3-11, 1-5 CACC) made an early statement in the first half of play, edging Bloomfield College (3-12, 2-4 CACC) by 24 points (40-16, 2
nd QRT) by the end. The home team shot 55.6% from both the field (15-of-27) and from behind the arc (5-of-9) that aided in their advantage. By 9:49 of the second quarter, a Glenn three pointer pushed the Griffins to double digits for the first time of the contest (18-7, 2
nd QRT). Sophomore guard
Kaitlin Dougherty (Philadelphia, Pa.) kicked off the Griffin's run with a three pointer at 8:11 that set the trend for the rest of the period. The Scarlet and Gold dominated the rest of the half without a struggle pushing, the score to 40-16 before the break. The Scarlet and Gold held their own in the third quarter, maintaining a 20-point lead throughout the period (57-32, 2
nd QRT). This theme mirrored through the remainder of regulation play and the Griffins closed out the win 77-59.
Senior forward Deja McKenzie (Baltimore, M.D.) headlined Bloomfield College with an 18 points, six rebounds, one assist, and two steals performance. Following her was freshman forward Jaylah Bennett (Newark, N.J.) with 13 points (8REB, 1AST, 2STL) and senior guard Ilysia Lewis (Baltimore, Maryland) chipped in 11 points (8REB, 1AST, 4STL).
Wildgoose was honored before today's contest for reaching All-Time Leading Scorer ((Ruairi Sullivan '00, 1,277 points) status in Chestnut Hill College's program in the first quarter against Goldey-Beacom College. She also garnered her fifth double-double of the season recording 12 points and 13 rebounds (2AST). Glenn led the Griffins with 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Sebold (3REB, 6AST) and Crim both registered 11 points each, while Miller tied her career high 10 points (4REB, 1AST, 1STL). Senior guard
