Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. - (10/8/2019) – Chestnut Hill College visited Mercy College for this afternoon's contest. The Mavericks controlled play and made efficient use of a 21-4 shot advantage as they retired the Griffins by a 7-0 end. Mercy College (9-1-1) applied pressure early, scoring on their fourth shot – the first by Corral – just 3:13 (1-0) after the opening kickoff. They added a second goal at 20:45 (2-0), a third at 30:56 (3-0), a fourth at 36:34 (4-0), and a fifth at 43:07 to lead Chestnut Hill College (3-5-1) by 5-0 at halftime. Sergio Hernandez (Ossining, N.Y.) for the second half. But he did not fare much better as he surrender two more Maverick tallies on just seven shots; 7-0.
Besides Corral three tallies, four other Mavericks provided a goal in the affair; senior midfielder Ignacio Mangada (Alicante, Spain) was chief among them, supplying three assists in excess of his score (3-0, 30:56). Junior goalkeepers Joel Serrano (Arecibo, Puerto Rico) and Jordan Williams (Newton, N.J.) split time for Mercy College. Serrano earned the win (7-1-1), but Williams made both of the Mavericks' saves in the second half.

Miguel Marra (Ossining, N.Y.) each recorded a shot. Only Kehr's and Torres' second-half shots made it on goal. Maniscalco took the loss (3-2-1) and made three saves in the first half. Hernandez turned denied two Maverick shots in the second half.
Chestnut Hill College resumes their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on Saturday, October 12, when they visit Post University for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
