Molloy College scored three unanswered goals as they defeated the Chestnut Hill College Men's Soccer team, 3-1 Tuesday evening at Victory Field #1 in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins fall to 0-9-3 overall. Molloy improves to 8-5-1.
The two teams played to a scoreless first half with Molloy getting off seven shots to Chestnut Hills six.  The game remained scoreless until the 47
th minute when CHC's
Andrey McIntyre  put a shot past the Molloy goalkeeper to give the Griffins a 1-0 lead.
Four minutes later, the Lions tied the score at 1-1 with a goal from Kenneth Garcia.  Molloy took the lead with a goal in the 59
th minute and added an insurance goal in the 69
th minute giving the Lions a two-goal lead 3-1 which held up for the rest of the match.
Bryce Fadako made four saves in goal for the Griffins facing seven shots on goal. For the game, Molloy outshot Chestnut Hill 11-8.Â
The Chestnut Hill College Men's Soccer team returns to action on Saturday, October 23, 2021 when they host Bloomfield College at Victory Field #1. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
