Box Score The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team's fall season cam to an end Friday morning as they dropped a 4-0 decision to top seed Wilmington University in the semi-final round of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Tournament at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Griffins finish with a 3-5 record.
Wilmington won the doubles point with victories at #2 and #3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
In singles competition,
Gianna Vassalluzzo  dropped her match at #5 singles 6-1, 6-1 to give Wilmington their second point.Â
Alani Naje Connor lost at #6 singles and
Romi Meirovich lost at #4 singles to give the Wildcats their final two points.
Matches at #1, #2 and #3 singles went unfinished. However at #1 singles CHC's
Carlota Garcia Arguelles was ahead of CACC Player of the Year Neus Ramos Moreno 6-4, 4-1 before the match was declared over after Wilmington scored their fourth point.
The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team will return to action in the Spring of 2022 with three matches.
