The Chestnut Hill College Men's Soccer team were looking for their second straight win, this time on the road for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game against Dominican College Wednesday afternoon in Orangeburg, New York. The Griffins bid for that second straight win fell short as the Chargers handed the Griffins a 4-0 loss.
Chestnut Hill drops to 1-11-3 overall and 1-6-1 in league play. Dominican improves to 8-5-1 overall and 5-2-1 in CACC matches.
Dominican got on the board with a goal in the 10
th minute of play and added another in the 44
th minute to go 2-0 at the half. The Chargers added two more goals in the second half to round out the scoring.
The Griffins finished the game with five total shots, one each by five different players.
Manny Weagba Jr. had the lone shot on goal for Chestnut Hill in the 80
th minute.
Mahmoud Mahmoud took the loss in goal for the Griffins, allowing the four goals while also recording four saves.
The Chestnut Hill Men's Soccer Team is back in action on Saturday, October 30, 2021 when they host Post University at Victory Field #1 in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
