Orangeburg, N.J. - (4/20/2021) – Scoring their third Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory in as many matches, Chestnut Hill College defeated Dominican College by a 6-1 final this evening. The Griffins won the doubles point with a 6-4 number three doubles win from juniors
Mark Gladkyy (Franklinville, N.J.) and
Gregory Joseph Kvint (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) and proceeded to clinch the league prize with wins in the first (6-1, 6-4), fifth (6-0, 6-0), and second (6-4, 6-4) singles flights. At match's end, the Scarlet and Gold owned a 6-1 victory.
Chestnut Hill College (6-3, 5-2) won the first match of the afternoon with freshmen
João Sousa (Pontevedra, Spain) and
Domagoj Dugandzic (Stuttgart, Germany) taking number two doubles by a 6-4 margin. Dominican College (2-4, 2-3) answered with a 7-6 (7-1) win at number one doubles, but the decision came in the third flight with a 6-4 win from Galdkyy and Kvint, 1-0.

Tom Pitchley (London, England), Dugandzic, and junior
Kiki Dagneaux (Saint-Gervasy, France) marked the end of the Chargers. Pitchley won the first singles flight by a 6-1, 6-4, score. Dugandzic then scored the fifth individual flight, 6-0, 6-0, before Dagneaux clinched the Scarlet and Gold triumph with his 6-4, 6-4, number two singles win, 4-0. Sousa added a fifth Griffin point with his 6-4, 5-6, 10-7, win at number four singles, before Dominican College spoiled the shut out with a 6-4, 7-5, number three singles win, 5-1. Gladkyy concluded the match with his 6-2, 6-1, win at number six singles, 6-1.
Chestnut Hill College concludes their CACC and regular-season schedule on Tuesday, April 27, when they visit Concordia College (NY) for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
