The Chestnut Hill College Women's Lacrosse team traveled to face Jefferson University for the second time this season on Wednesday with the contest counting as a conference match.
The Rams kept the Griffins defense working throughout most of the game as
Mel Amador (Cape May, N.J.) saved 20 shots in goal for the Griffins. The junior goalkeeper now has 94 saves on the season for the Griffins (1-7, 0-3 CACC). (3
rd in the CACC).  Her 94 saves also rank her among the top ten saves leaders in NCAA Division II. Amador continues to lead the NCAA in saves/game (16.0).
Abigail Galazka (Philadelphia, Pa.) led the Griffins with two ground balls, while
Molly Killion (Philadelphia, Pa.) Â and
Ashley Watson (Bristol, Conn.) had one caused turnover apiece.
For the Rams (4-3, 3-0 CACC), Carina Raymond led Jefferson with four goals while Erin Avenzato had seven total points as the Rams won the contest 22-0.
The Chestnut Hill College women's Lacrosse team is back in action on Saturday, April 2, 2022 with a  contest on the road  at Dominican College. First draw is at 7:00 p.m.
