Stephen Connor recorded 12 saves as the Chestnut Hill college Men's soccer team fell to Wilmington University 3-0 Wednesday night at Victory Field in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.
The loss drops the Griffins record to 0-4-1 overall and 0-2 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games.  Wilmington improves to 3-2-2 overall and 2-0 in league play.
Connor had four saves in the first half while giving up just one goal in the 38
th minute.
Wilmington made the score 2-0 just two minutes into the second half as the Wildcats continued to press offensively, scoring their final goal in the 74
th minute. Connor had eight saves in the period while giving up two goals.
The Wildcats outshot the Griffins 23-4 with 15 of their shots landing on net. All four of Chestnut Hill's shot were on net.
The Chestnut Hill College Men's Soccer team returns to action on Saturday, September 17, 2022 when they host Alliance University at Victory Field. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
