The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to NCAA Division I Bucknell University Saturday afternoon in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins fall to 6-4 on the season while the Bison improve to 11-4.
Bucknell swept all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead in the contest.

Tom Pitchley played the closest of the three matches, falling to Harrison Gold and Brendan McDonald at #1 doubles, 7-6 (7-5)
The Bison followed with three straight singles wins to clinch the match and took a 5-0 lead when Cutting fell in three sets to Gold, 2-6, 6-4, 3-6. Chestnut Hill earned their first point when
Antonio Franquis defeated Michael Owen 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) at # 4 singles. The Griffins earned their final point of the day with a win at #3 singles.
Tiago Lima defeated Nick Mueller 6-3, 1-6, 7-5, marking the third singles match to go to three sets on the day.
The men's tennis team returns to action with a home match on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 when they face Dominican University. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
