Box Score The Chestnut Hill Women's Tennis team  dropped a 5-2 decision to Division I Delaware State University Tuesday afternoon in Dover Delaware.

The Griffins fall to 7-10 with the loss.  The Hornets improve to 5-5-1 with the win.

Claudia Rasilla and Annika Wise scored the only points for Chestnut Hill, winning their respective singles matches.

Delaware State won the two doubles matches to take the double point and started the singles competition up 2-0 as the Griffins only fielded five players.  The Hornets increased their lead and clinched the match with wins over Alison Isaac at #1 singles and Nele Haag at  #2 singles., making the score 4-0  Wise recorded the Griffins' first point, defeating Ja'nayah Pickins  6-1, 6-0 at #5 singles and Rasilla closed out the match with a 1-6, 6-3 (11-9) win over Basma Raja at #4 singles.

The women's tennis team returns to action on Thursday, March 23, 2023 with a match at Shippensburg University.  First serve is set for 3:00 p.m.
