The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team lost their second consecutive conference match Tuesday afternoon as Post University narrowly edged the Griffins 4-3 in Waterbury Connecticut.

The Griffins' record falls to 7-6 overall and 1-3 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games.
Chestnut Hill started the match with a win at #2 doubles as
Noah Cutting and
Antonio Franquis teamed up to defeat Cooper Smith and Nik Langenfeld, 6-1. The Eagles, however, won the remaining two doubles contests to secure the doubles point and a 1-0 lead in the match.
Post increased their lead to 3-0 with wins at the top two singles positions with Cutting dropping his #1 singles match and
Tom Pitchley his #2 singles match.
Joao Sousa got the Griffins on the board with a 6-43, 6-1 win at #3 singles and Franquis brought the Griffins within one, 3-2 with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #4 singles.
The Eagles then clinched the match with a win at #6 singles with
Pedro Vicente losing a close second set, 7-5 after dropping the first set 6-1.Â
Tiago Lima gave the Griffins their final point with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at #3 singles.Â
The Men's Tennis team is home on Thursday for a non-conference match with Bloomsburg University. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
