The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team dominated singles play as they captured the season series from Post University 5-2 Tuesday afternoon at the CHC Tennis Courts.
The Griffins are now 12-7 overall and 4-4 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference games.  The Eagles drop to 7-7 overall and 4-3 in league play. 
The Eagles started the match by winning the doubles point, winning the #1 and #2 doubles matches.  The Griffins' #3 doubles team of 
Joao Sousa and 
Tiago Lima were the only doubles squad to earn a victory with a 6-4 win over James Vincent and Nik Langenfeld.
The Griffins tied the match with a win at #1 singles as 
Noah Cutting defeated Gustavo Kerber 6-3, 6-3 and then took a 2-1 lead as Lima defeated Josh Cronje 6-1, 6-0. 
 Antonio Franquis gave the Griffins a 3-1 lead with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Ivan Kolchanov at #4 singles before 
Tom Pitchley clinched the match win for Chestnut Hill, defeated Cooper Smith 7-5, 6-2 at #2 singles.
Post added a win at #6 singles before Sousa scored the Griffins final point with a 6-3, 7-6 (8-6) win over Anton Andersson at #5 singles.
The men's tennis team is back in action on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, when they travel to play St. Thomas Aquinas College.
