The Griffins fall to 7-17 overall while the Cougars improve to 11-11.

The teams battled for much of the first half with the Griffins holding a 32-30 lead with 3:34 left.  Caldwell closed out the half on a 15-4 run to erase the Griffins lead and take a 45-36 lead at the half.

Two baskets from Pettit to open the second half cut the Griffins' deficit to five but the Cougars again erupted with another 15-4 run to take a 16 point lead 60-44 with 12:42 left.  Three point baskets from Marshall Baker and Pettit followed by a layup from Noah Charles produced an 8-2 run as the Griffins cut the lead to ten 62-52 with 9:23 remaining. Caldwell still led by double-digits as the game wore on and scored the final 12 points of the game to complete the 24-point win.

Caldwell shot a very efficient 56.1% (32-57) from the field while Chestnut Hill shot 37.5% (21-56) from the field including a 41.7% effort from three-point range (5-12).  The Cougars held a 35-32 rebounding advantage and committed two fewer turnovers (13-15).
