Mianna Lopez DelHaro hit her second home run in as many days but the Chestnut Hill college women's softball team was swept by Holy Family University 7-2 and 9-1 Sunday afternoon at Bensalem High School in Philadelphia.

The Griffins fall to 1-18 overall and 0-11 in Central Atlantic Collegiate conference games.  Holy Family improves to 7-24 overall and 4-6 in league play.

Lopez DelHaro had three hits in the opening game including her second home run of the season along with a pair of doubles.  Skyler Cunningham added two singles and Kayla Rolon one.

Gabriella Quinones took the loss allowing all seven runs (six earned) while striking out five.

The Tigers scored solo runs in the first and third innings before the Griffins got on the scoreboard.  Anastasia Watson reached on an error allowing DelHaro to score after the sophomore shortstop led off the inning with a double and Cunningham moved her to third with a single.

Holy Family added two more runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to increase their lead to 7-1.  DelHaro hit her home run in the Griffins' final at-bat, a two-out shot over the centerfield fence to round out the scoring.

Game two saw neither team score until the fifth inning with the Griffins getting on the board first.  Watson doubled to leadoff the inning and two batters later scored on Jenn Pokropinski's single, giving the Griffins a 1-0 lead.

The Tigers scored nine times in the bottom of the fifth to end the game, rapping seven hits in the inning.
