The Chestnut Hill Colle Men's Soccer team's offense struggled against first place Post University Saturday afternoon, falling to the Eagles 4-0 at victory field in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins fall to 6-7-1 overall and 2-4-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contests. The Eagles remain undefeated, improving to 4-0-2 in league play and 5-0-7 overall.
The Chestnut Hill offense managed just two shots on goal and seven total shots in the contest.
The Griffins had their best opportunity to score just 22 minutes into the game when the eagles were called for a foul within the box and Chestnut Hill was awarded a penalty kick, giving the team a chance to tie the game at 1-1. Andres Gomez shot was saved by Eagle goalkeeper Leopold Dufaut and his rebound shot sailed high over the net. Chestnut Hill had two more shots in the first half, both off the mark.
The Eagles quickly added to their lead in the second half, scoring three goals in a 3:39 span to pull ahead 4-0. Meanwhile the Eagles defense was limiting the offensive attempts by the Griffins who did not record their first shot of the second half until the 73rd minute. At the start of the 89th minute,  Terrance Doe had Chestnut Hill's only shot on goal in the half.
Rodrigo Artiga made eight saves in goal for the Griffins in the losing effort.
For the game, the Eagles outshot the Griffins 14-7 (12-2 on frame). Â
The men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 when they travel to face Wilmington University. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
