The Chestnut Hill College Women's bowling team concluded their competition at the Coppin State University Ladey Eagles Invitational on Sunday, winning one of their five Baker matches on the afternoon.
The Griffins finished the tournament with a 1-9 record.
Opening the day's competition, the Griffins took on Bowie State University, losing to the Bulldogs 863-636. The team had a high game in the match of 143. Cora Olsen filled six of ten frames. Olsen and Taylor Graham were perfect in the single pin spare attempts.
Delaware state handed the Griffins a 1,000-668 loss in match number two. Alexis Horton and Victoria Forbes filled eight and seven frames respectively. Horton made 60% of her strike attempts in the match and Forbes was 100% on single pin spare attempts. The team had a high game of 150 in the match.
The Griffins lost to Howard University 8459-663 in the third match. Olsen filled eight of ten frames and had a 50% strike percentage. The team's high game was 156.
In the fourth match, the Griffins earned a 657-612 win over Norfolk State University. Forbes and Olsen filled six of ten frames each and the team rolled a high game of 141.
In the final match, a baker format bracket contest, Bowie State defeated the Griffins 4-1 Forbes and Olsen again led the team filling five of ten frames apiece. The Griffins had a high game of 159.
The fall portion of the 2025-26 women's bowling season is now concluded. The team will resume action in January when the second
