The Chestnut Hill College Men's Basketball team was on the road again Monday night as they took on East Stroudsburg university , falling to the Warriors 96-75 at ESU's Koehler Fieldhouse in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins fall to 0-3 on the season.
Jeremiah Gorham led the Griffins with 17 points (7-8 FG, 3-4 3FG). Malcolm Day added 15 points (7-15 FG). Alejandro Redondo Cybak led all players with nine rebounds. Kamal Lee had three assists.
The Warriors held the early lead and opened up a double-digit advantage at the 14:15 mark of the first half, 17-7. A Gorham three-ball pulled the Griffins within seven 19-12 two minutes later before the Warrios tacked on seven straight points to lead 26-12 with 11:21 left in the period.
The East Stroudsburg lead oscillated between ten and 15 points over the next seven minutes until Gorham hit another three-ball to cut the lead back to single digits 43-34 with 4:26 left in the period. ESU finished the half on a 7-1 run to lead 50-35 at the break.
ESU continued to expand their lead as the second half began, opening the final period with a 19-4 run to take a 69-39 lead with 13 minutes remaining. ESU led by as many as 33 points before a late surge, starting with a 14-2 run over a four minute stretch cut the lead to 22, 85-63 with 4:39 left . The Griffins, however, would come no closer than 20 points the rest of the way.
For the game the Warriors produced a solid 55.9% shooting effort from the field (38-68) while the Griffins shot 41.8% (28-67).  ESU also held a 47-29 rebounding advantage.
The men's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 when they travel to Shippensburg University. Tipoff is set for 8:00 p.m.
