The Chestnut Hill College Women's Soccer team dropped their final regular season contest of the 2025 season, falling to host Jefferson University 2-0 Tuesday afternoon at Ravenhill Field.
The loss snaps the Griffins six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1) as they fall to 8-7-1 overall and finish conference play with an 8-2-1 record. The team will be the #3 seed heading into the CACC Championship tournament which begins Saturday. The Rams will be the #1 seed, finishing with a 10-0-1 league mark and a 14-1-1 overall record.
Jefferson scored both their goals in the first half,  getting on the scoreboard just 7:31 into the game with a goal from Evelyn Ventura-Garcia. The team added a long goal from Gianna Garozzo at the 43:49 mark.
Chestnut Hill finished with just two shots on goal, both in the first half off the feet of Rebecca Dalton and Virginia Perry.
Haley Esposito took the loss, making four first half saves. Ellie Stratz made two saves in the second half without allowing any additional goals.
For the game The Rams outshot the Griffins 21-4 (10-2 on frame).
The Griffins will host a quarterfinal playoff game on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at victory Field #1. The opponent will be either Goldey-Beacom College or Georgian Court University and starting time have yet to be determined.Â
