Griffins Drop Two Matches to Kutztown

The Chestnut Hill College Bowling team played a pair of matches on Friday against Kutztown University losing 742-630 in a traditional format match and 662-601 in a baker format match.  The match was held at Jay's Lanes in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.

 In the traditional match, Chase Clifford led the way, filling seven of ten frames for a score of 171.  Clifford recorded four strikes.  Taylor Graham followed with a season-high score of 151, also recording four strikes and filling six frames.

Grace Mott filled four frames for a score of 134, recording two strikes.  Payton Lennon and Brigid McDonald rounded out the five bowlers with scores of 90 and 84.  Lennon filled four frames while McDonald filled two.

In the Baker match the Griffins had their best score in the third game of the match with a 156, filling four of the first five frames.   Overall Clifford filled seven of ten frames while Mott and McDonald filled six and five of ten frames respectively.

The women's bowling team returns to action on Monday, February 24, 2025, with a match against Holy Family University.  Start time is set for 5:00 p.m.
