The Chestnut Hill College Men's Tennis team played their final home match of the 2024-25 season Thursday afternoon and honored their senior players, defeating Arcadia University 7-0 at the CHC Tennis courts.

Prior to the match, the athletics department and the men's tennis program honored their two senior payers who would be playing in their final home match. Menno Raeymaekers and Arnaud Vangenechten joined the tennis program after transferring into Chestnut Hill in the fall of 2023 and have been an integral part of the program since, producing success on the tennis courts as well as in the classroom.
The Griffins opened the match with a sweep of the doubles contest, losing just one game in the process. Raeymaekers and Vangenechten teamed up to defeat Lee Conlu and Cole Goodman- Gary 6-0 at #2 doubles while Filippo Relecom and Enzo Puppi were also 6-0 winners at #1 doubles. Alessio Lefevre and Siddharth Malik completed the sweep with a 6-1 win over Jason Small and Jaylen Ferguson at 33 doubles.
In singles play, Malik and Pablo Cervera were straight set double-bagel, 6-0, 6-0 winners at #6 and #2 singles respectively following Raeymaekers' 6-0, 6-1 win at #5 singles. The three wins clinched the match for the Griffins as they took a 4-0 lead.
Vangenechten followed with a 6-2, 6-1 win at #4 singles over Matthew Nagy and Relecom defeated Conlu 6-1, 6-0 at #3 singles. Lefevre completed the sweep with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Aaron Allen at #1 singles.
The men's tennis team returns to action as they travel to face Jefferson University on April 19, 2025. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Legacy Tennis Center
