Mohamed Bility and Milan Umeoka scored their first goals as Griffins, leading the Chestnut Hill College men's soccer team to their first win of the season, 3-0 over Pace University at Northwell Stadium in Pleasantville, New York.
The Griffins improve to 1-2 on the season while Pace falls to 2-1.
Umeoka put the Griffins on the board early in the first half with a shot that caught the lower left corner of the net at the 8:27 mark. Luke Bodziak tallied the assist on the play.
Bility scored the first of his two goals at the 34:15 mark, taking a pass from Abdoulaye Kamagate and putting a shot into the lower right corner for a 2-0 Griffin lead. Eight minutes later he added an unassisted tally with a shot into the lower left corner, giving Chestnut Hill a 3-0 lead.
Max Bond was solid in net for the Griffins, recording his first collegiate shutout and tallying seven saves on the night.
Pace did produce more shots than the Griffins (19-15) but CHC had more on target (10-7). Bility and Kamagate each had three shots on goal while Umeoka had two. The Bodziak brothers, Luke and Dane had one shot on goal apiece.
The men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, September 13, 2025 when they host Shepherd University at Victory Field in Lafayette Hill. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
