The Chestnut Hill College Cross Country Teams competed in their third meet of the season at the Osprey Invitational hosted by Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey.
The men started off the competition with the 8,000-meter race. Braden Berkey led the Griffins to a 13th place finish out of 19 schools competing with a time of 28:42.15 placing 63rd overall among 162 finishers. Ryan O'Hara was the second Griffin to finish, placing 98th with a time of 30:56.81.
Rounding out the Griffins top five finishers were Lucas Iuliucci, Thomas Gallagher and Moussa Coulibaly. Iuliucci finished with a personal-best time of 33:47.86. Gallagher, a men's lacrosse player, finished with a time of 37:55.49 while making his cross country debut. Coulibaly finished with a time of 47:03.50.
On the women's side, the Griffins had two runners compete. Gabby Hassler placed 80th among the 158 finishers in the 6,000-meter race with a time of 27:43.49. Isabella Schmeltzer finished in 52:47.26 while making her cross country debut.
The women's and men's cross country teams return to action on Friday, October 3, 2025, when they compete at the Lehigh Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
