Flag Football Drops Two at Immaculata

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Flag Football team was back in action Friday evening taking on Immaculata University and Neumann University at IU's Draper Walsh Stadium in Immaculata, Pennsylvania.

Immaculata beat the Griffins in the first game, 32-0 while Neumann defeat the Griffins 24-0 in the second game.

The Griffins struggled offensively in both games, gaining only 44 yards of total offense against IU and 81 yards against Neumann.

In the opener Caroline Croteau threw for 33 yards, completing five of 20 passes.  Elizabeth Lumpkin had two receptions and Yorehiny Moreno ran for 20 yards.  Raquelle Dandy led the defense with nine tackles while Maryanne Delao and Caliyah Brown had five apiece. DeLao also had an interception

The Mighty Macs scored 20 points in the opening quarter and added 12 more in the second quarter to round out the scoring.

In the game against Neumann, Croteau threw for 54 yards, completing nine of 21 passes.  She also rushed for 27 yards.  Bry Hicks caught five passes for 38 yards.  On defense Brown had six tackles while Croteau and Lumpkin had four apiece.

Neumann scored on their first possession of the game to take an early 6-0 lead and added their second score late in the second quarter to lead 12-0 at halftime.  The score remained 12-0 until the fourth quarter when the Knights scored two touchdowns to round out the scoring.

The women's flag football team returns to action on Saturday March 28, 2026 with gamers against Centenary University and Eastern University.  Both games are being played at Centenary with a start time of 10:00 a.m. for the first game.
