The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team closed out their 2025-26 season Sunday afternoon, falling to Bloomsburg University 4-3 at the Burt Reese Tennis Center in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
The Griffins finish the season with a 5-12 record.
The Huskies captured the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead to open the match as Veronika Lundgren and Milica Zagorac fell to Nicole Ilkovic and Lia-Sophie Seele 6-2 at #1 doubles. Bloomsburg won #3 doubles by default as the Griffins only had five players. Claudia Rasilla Romero and Lilian Bandel won at #2 doubles 6-1.
The Huskies took a 2-0 advantage with a default win at #6 singles before Lundgren put the Griffins on the board with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Dasha Nakonechna at #3 singles. Bandel tied the match at 2-2, defeating Lily Sierka 6-3, 6-3 at #4 singles.
Elena Arenas Guisasola dropped her match at #1 singles to Ilkovic, 6-4, 3-6, 3-6 as the Huskies took a 3-2 lead. Rasilla then tied the match up with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 win over Macarena Arisio at #5 singles.
In the final match of the day, Zagorac took Seele to a tiebreaker in the third set before falling 6-2, 5-7, 6-7 (3-7) to give the Huskies a 4-3 win.
