Tuesday's second round of the WCU Battlefield Classic held at the Links at Gettysburg was canceled due to weather and course conditions, resulting in a fifth place finish for the Chestnut Hill College men's golf team
The Griffins finished with a score of 307, just two strokes back from Gannon University and Millersville University with both teams recording a 305 team score. Chestnut Hill  finished 11 strokes off the team champion and host West Chester University (296).
Andrew Brendlinger finished in a three-way tie for first with  Nathan Radwanski and Patrick Carl of West Chester following the first round. The three golfers had a playoff after the event was canceled to to the weather o determine the individual champion. Radwanski birdied the first hole to win with Brendlinger and Carl finishing in a tie for second with a one-under 71. Brendlinger, birdied three of his final nine holes to pull into the three way tie for the top spot. He finished the round with four birdies and 11 pars.
Hugo Almeida  and John Pablo Gonzalez finished six strokes behind the leaders with identical scores of 77, each recording ten pars and two birdies in the first round. They  are currently tied for 18th place.
Rogelio Gerena and Kiefer Sharman round out the Griffins competitors in the field. Gerena shot an 82 on the afternoon finishing 11 strokes behind the leaders while Sharman shot an 84.
The men's golf team returns to action on Wednesday with the start of the CACC Preview Tournament, held at Jeffersonville Golf Club in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
