The Chestnut Hill College men's soccer team's offensive struggles continued as they fell to Bryant and Stratton College 2-0 at victory Field Wednesday night.
The Griffins fall to 2-4-2 overall. The Bobcats improve to 5-5
The Bobcats struck early, scoring just five minutes into the game to take a 1-0 lead. Chestnut Hill had several opportunities as the half progressed, producing three shots on goal and eight total shots in the period but were unable to find the back of the net.
The offensive drought continued in the second half as the Griffins outshot the Bobcats 4-2 on net and 6-5 overall in the period. B& S added an insure goal off a penalty kick in the 74th minutes to make the final score 2-0.
Max Bond took the loss in net, recording two saves while giving up both goals.
Nine different Griffin players recorded at least one shot with Kholifa Sankoh leading the way with three while Mohamed Bility, Popalzai Zazai, and Kervening Thelistin produced two apiece. The Griffins finished the game with 14 shots ( B& S - nine) and had seven shots on goal (B&S - four). The two teams recorded three corner kicks apiece.
The men's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, September 26, 2026 when they travel to face Post University in Waterbury Connecticut. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
