The Chestnut Hill College Women's Cross Country team opened their season Friday afternoon at the GCU Jersey Pines Challenge at Ocean County Park in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Four Griffin runners competed in the women's 4,000-meter race.
Soleil Casseus led the Griffins, finishing 20th overall with a time of 18:30.1. Mya Robinson was the next Griffin to finish, placing 26th overall with a time of 19:14.0. Yorehiny Monero and Gesielyz Sanchez rounded out the Chestnut Hill finishers with Monero finishing with a time of 25:27.5 and Sanchez cross the finish line in 26:52.1.
The women's cross country team returns to action on Saturday, September 12, 2026 when they compete at the Philadelphia Cross Classic at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia. Start time is set for 9:00 a.m.
