Biography

FRESHMAN (2012-2013) – Williams-Mulesa garnered two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week awards (9/4/12 and 9/11/12) with a 14-4 individual record (12-4 @ #5) and a 13-9 doubles record. More often than not, she teamed with Owens for a 10-7 record at number three doubles. Williams-Mulesa earned academic recognition on the Chestnut Hill College Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2012 and Spring 2013).

SOPHOMORE (2013-2014) – Serving as team captain for the first time, Williams-Mulesa garnered All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First-Team recognition after compiling a 13-12 overall record (13-11 @ #2) and a 19-9 doubles mark with Coach’s Award winner, senior Kelly Dennis (Cincinnati, Oh.). She was a CACC Weekly Honor Roll mention on October 7 and was rated #16 individually and #10 in doubles in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Rankings. Williams-Mulesa earned academic recognition on the Fall 2013 CACC All-Academic Team, the Chestnut Hill College Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2013) and from the ITA.

JUNIOR (2014-2015) – Williams-Mulesa offered a 17-8 singles record, competing from the number two (7-3) and number four (9-4) flights in her second season as a team co-captain; she was also 1-1 as an individual in tournament play. In doubles, she contributed to a 15-11 record alongside Charlotte Dawson ’15 (4-1 @ #1), junior Axé Owens (Trenton, N.J.) (5-8 @ #2), and freshman Lara Scholtze (Bod Hamburg, Germany) (6-1 @ #2). Williams-Mulesa earned a CACC Weekly Honor Roll selection on October 13 and was recognized on the All-CACC Second Team in addition to earning the team’s Coach’s Award. She was also recognized on the CACC Fall 2014 All-Academic Team, the Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) Academic All-Area Team, and both the fall 2014 and spring 2015 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Rolls.

SENIOR (2015-2016) – While serving as team captain for a third consecutive season, Williams-Mulesa was an all-conference honoree for the third straight season, adding a second straight All-CACC Second Team selection to her All-CACC First Team status from 2013. She produced a sparkling 12-8 (.600) showing at number three singles and recorded her 100th career victory in a 9-0 sweep of Caldwell University on September 23. A dominant third singles player, Williams-Mulesa won four matches by a 6-0, 6-0 count this fall and added a pair of 6-1, 6-0 conquests. She was a CACC Weekly Honor Roll recipient on the league's September 21 and September 28 reports. With 125 career wins, third all-time, Williams-Mulesa was named the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) – adding to her 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 Coach's Awards – and garnered the ITA's Most Improved Senior award after finishing the season at #18 in the final ITA East Region singles poll and #7 in the final ITA East Region doubles poll. Williams-Mulesa also garnered academic recognition on the CACC Fall 2015 All-Academic Team and both the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
