Chestnut Hill College Athletics

FRESHMAN (2014) – DiBonaventure made six starts in 14 appearances (14gp-6gs) between third base and shortstop. He recorded four hits and two walks in 24 plate appearances to post a .182 (4-for-22) batting average, a .280 slugging percentage (SLG%), and a .250 on-base percentage on which he totaled three runs and two runs-batted-in (RBI). On the mound, DiBonaventure made seven relief appearances (9.1 innings pitched) in which he allowed four earned runs (3.86 earned run average) while walking five and striking out seven.

SOPHOMORE (2015) – DiBonaventure (30gp-7gs) was the Griffins’ primary infield reserve, appearing in 30 games and starting seven between second base, third base, and shortstop. He also made 14 relief appearances on the mound with a 7.64 earned run average (ERA), a 3-2 record, and a save. At the plate, DiBonaventure offered a .071 (2-for-28) batting average, a .143 slugging percentage, and a .188 on-base percentage with a single, a triple, and four walks. He scored seven runs, knocked in five runs, and stole two bases (2-of-2, 1.000).

JUNIOR (2016) – DiBonaventure made 16 starts at third base (34gp-16gs) and 10 appearances (10app-0gs) on the mound as one of the Griffins’ top relief pitchers. At the plate, he offered a .200 (10-for-50) batting average, a .240 slugging percentage, and a .310 on-base percentage with two doubles and eight walks. He scored 11 times and knocked in six runs while recording two stolen bases (2-of-3, .667). On the mound, DiBonaventure posted a 1.15 ERA and earned a save in 15.2 innings of work. He walked two and struck out eight while holding opponents to a .196 (11-for-56) batting average.

SENIOR (2017) – DiBonaventure (45gp-41gs) batted .243 (33-for-136), carried a .314 on-base percentage with 14 walks, and slugged .272 with four doubles. He scored 16 runs, provided 20 runs-batted-in (RBI), and stole seven bases (7-for-9) in the process. Academically, DiBonaventure was a member of the spring 2017, Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
